Sara Frankenberger, MA, MEd RCC CCC

Sara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC, RCC # 19100) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA, CCC # 10007643) with over 12 years of experience in child and youth care and mental health support. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Education from SFU, along with an M.Ed in Counselling Psychology from UBC.

In her practice, Sara incorporates a range of approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy (SFBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. Sara has successfully worked with clients from all walks of life, providing mental health support for issues such as communication and relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and substance use. Her extensive experience includes supporting youth and young adults.

Fluent in both German and English, Sara is an approved provider with ICBC, CVAP, BCEHS, and FNHA, and she also offers direct billing to many extended benefits providers. While she specializes in counselling, she acknowledges the importance of holistic approaches, including physiotherapy services, in comprehensive mental health care.

Sara provides virtual counselling to clients throughout BC, making it convenient to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. She is based in Vernon but lived in Vancouver for 14 years.

Stephen Blaxland, MPT

Stephen is a registered physiotherapist specializing in various physiotherapy services. He completed a Masters in Physical Therapy (MPT) from UBC in 2014 and has extensive experience in concussion rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and providing mental health support through home health and rehabilitation.
